It feels great to be back in the swing of things after a terrific vacation. Last Saturday we had a wonderful opportunity to shoot Gabriella’s first birthday party at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was a terrific party with great food, animals, and a carousel! I’ll show you some of the details in a moment but without further ado, here is Gabriella with her mom!

Okay, check out these AMAZING cakes and frosted cupcakes. These are just too cute and too delicious! And the zebra stripes and chocolate spots, a perfect match for the day at the zoo.
The kids loved this part, an exciting animal encounter.
I think this was a chinchilla!
Up next is of course a turtle. The kids got to pet them both and I think Gabriella was not a huge fan of the turtle. Her brother, on the other hand, seemed to like it.
